We repair boat trailers at your storage yard from Marina del Rey to Newport Beach, or at our San Pedro shop. Salt water is hard on a trailer, and the parts that go under at every launch wear first: bearings, hubs, lights and bunks.
What the work covers
- Trailer wheel bearing repack and hub replacement: clean, inspect and repack the bearings with new seals, or fit new hubs when the old ones are worn or rusted.
- LED trailer light rewiring and submersible upgrades: new wiring and grounds, and sealed LED lights made to go underwater.
- Trailer bunk board and carpet replacement: new bunks and carpet, set to support the hull evenly.
- Boat trailer repair for the rest of the trailer, such as brakes, the winch, rollers, springs and the coupler.

How often should trailer wheel bearings be repacked?
Follow the trailer or axle maker's interval. Trailers that go into salt water need closer attention, and bearings that have taken on water should be serviced before the next long tow.
Why do my trailer lights keep failing?
Salt water corrodes sockets, connectors and the ground connection, and hot bulbs can crack when they hit cold water. Sealed LED lights, fresh wiring and a solid ground are the usual fix. Unplugging the lights before you back down the ramp also helps.
