Do you install new engines, propellers and shafts?

Yes. We repower boats with new or remanufactured MerCruiser and Mercury engines, and we install, replace and align propellers and shafts; taking a shaft out or putting one in is done with the boat out of the water. We test the work before you take the boat back.

What does your MerCruiser and Mercury engine service include?

It covers diagnostics, maintenance and repairs for MerCruiser inboards and sterndrives and Mercury outboards: reading the engine computer, the fuel and ignition systems, cooling, and the drive and driveline.

Are you a Mercury dealer?

No. We are an independent shop, not a Mercury dealer. We work on MerCruiser and Mercury engines to the manufacturer's specifications and service schedules and give you a dated invoice for every service, which helps if you ever make a warranty claim; repairs covered by Mercury's warranty go through a Mercury dealer.

Can you diagnose electronic and sensor-related engine problems?

Yes. We connect a marine diagnostic scan tool to the engine computer to read fault codes and live sensor data, then test the sensors and wiring to find the cause of misfires, alarms or power loss.

Do you handle routine maintenance as well as major repairs?

Yes. We do everything from 100-hour and annual services to major engine repairs. Regular maintenance on Mercury's schedule helps prevent breakdowns and extends the life of your MerCruiser or Mercury engine.

Can you service both gasoline and diesel MerCruiser engines?

Yes. We service gasoline MerCruiser engines as well as MerCruiser diesels. Our inspections cover the fuel and cooling systems, turbo components on the diesels, and the drive or driveline.

Do you use OEM parts for repairs and replacements?

We use Quicksilver parts or quality aftermarket marine parts made for your engine, and each part is listed on your estimate before it is fitted. Parts carry their manufacturer's warranty, and our workmanship is warranted for 90 days from the invoice date.

Can professional servicing improve engine performance and reliability?

It can. Servicing on the maker's schedule keeps the fuel, ignition and cooling systems working as designed, which helps throttle response, fuel use and reliability and lowers the risk of a breakdown on the water.
