Topside Polishing & Waxing Packages
The Shine that
Shields.
UV rays and salt spray constantly attack your boat's gelcoat. Our topside detailing packages provide a sacrificial barrier of protection, keeping your vessel glossy and easy to clean.
UV Inhibitors
We use high-grade marine polymer waxes loaded with UV inhibitors. This "sunblock" prevents the gelcoat from oxidizing, chalking, and turning yellow.
Stain Resistance
A sealed surface has no open pores for dirt, bird droppings, or fish blood to penetrate. Stains sit on top of the wax, allowing them to be wiped away effortlessly.
Regular Care
We focus on the "Topside"—the cabin house, cockpit, flybridge, and non-skid areas. This is where you spend your time, and it deserves to look showroom fresh.
The Detailer's Method.
A systematic approach to surface perfection.
Decon Wash
We perform a strip wash to remove old wax and surface grime, ensuring the polisher works on the gelcoat, not the dirt.
Polish
Using a Dual Action (DA) polisher and fine polish, we remove light oxidation, water spots, and embedded contaminants.
Protect
We machine-apply a premium polymer sealant or Carnauba wax, letting it haze over before hand-buffing to a brilliant shine.
Detail
We finish by polishing the stainless steel rails, cleaning the isinglass (clear vinyl), and conditioning exterior vinyl seats.
Gloss. Reflected.
A boat that turns heads at the marina.
Professional Products.
We use the best chemistry for the marine environment.
Common Questions
How often should I wax?
In California, every 3 to 4 months. UV degradation happens quickly. A quarterly schedule keeps the gelcoat healthy and prevents heavy oxidation from forming.
Wax vs. Ceramic?
Wax is an organic "sacrificial" layer that lasts 3-4 months. Ceramic is a semi-permanent bond that lasts 2 years. Wax is lower cost upfront but requires more frequent re-application.
